The year 2023 marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Vietnam. As good neighbors and partners, China and Vietnam have accelerated the joint construction of ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ as well as the abutment of ‘two corridors and one ring’. Both sides make the full use of convenience of connectivity, keep the industrial chain and supply chain in a stable and smooth condition, and promote the high-quality development of economic and trade relations.

Vietnam is the top trading partner and the fourth biggest investment destination of Jiangsu in ASEAN. Jiangsu has signed 319 projects with the contract value of 3.36 billion dollars in recent 10 years. In order to deepen the practical cooperation between Jiangsu and Vietnam in the area of economy and trade, on 12th of December, 2023, Jiangsu Provincial People's Government held the development, promotion and cooperation conference in construction area between Jiangsu and Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam office of JSFT was invited to participate in the conference as the Chinese-funded organization in Ho Chi Minh City, and Yan Zijian, vice director of the office, attended the meeting.

Vietnam office of JSFT was founded in 2019. As the important grip of JSFT to deeply expand the Vietnam market, it takes the responsible of integrating the resource of upstream raw material supplier. After four years of hardworking, the volume and scale of the natural rubber products mainly operated by Vietnam office increased constantly, while the local influence of the office improved gradually.  

In the future, JSFT will set up the Vietnam company based on the Vietnam office, take advantages of the localization tactic and actively build the localized industrial chain as well as business ecosystem. Also, JSFT will deeply expand Vietnamese markets of high-quality agricultural products on the basis of original natural rubber business to build the professional overseas platform for Vietnamese agricultural and forestry products.
