After long-term cultivation and layout, JOC Wuchan Corporation , a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSFT, has timely entered the export track of new energy vehicles, seizing the opportunity of ‘new three exports’ in foreign trade and introducing new development momentum. Recently, companies such as German ELARIS Auto Group, Kazakhstan DAEWOO BUS KAZAKHSTAN LTD, and Sky-well New Energy Automobile Group Co. Ltd (Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. ) have visited JSFT in a dense manner. They have conducted in-depth discussions with Sheng Yakun, the deputy general manager of JSFT and chairman of JOC Wuchan Corporation , and Zhang Zhidong, the general manager assistant of JSFT and general manager of JOC Wuchan Corporation , on exploring the export of new energy vehicles to Germany and Kazakhstan, as well as cooperation in the agricultural product market along ‘the Belt and Road’.
On the afternoon of December 4th, Lars, the president of the German ELARIS Auto Group, and Li Ming, the vice president of Sky-well New Energy Automobile Group Co. Ltd (Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd.), visited JSFT.
At the meeting, Sheng Yakun expressed warm welcome to Lars and Li Ming's visit to JOC Wuchan Corporation , and introduced in detail the historical evolution, operation situation of JOC Wuchan Corporation and its parent company,JSFT, as well as the mission and functional positioning of JSFT inSOHO. The export business of new energy vehicles is in line with the national strategic direction and an important measure for the company to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality. JOC Wuchan Corporation attaches great importance to the development of new energy and clean energy industries. Based on the continuous development of exporting biodiesel to the European market, the company is actively cultivating and incubating the export business of new energy vehicles. The company hopes to better serve the physical automotive industry in Jiangsu Province in the future, and assist Nanjing Golden Dragon in jointly exploring ‘the Belt and Road’ markets such as Europe, Central Asia, and Russia for new energy vehicles.
Lars stated that the European new energy vehicle market has broad development prospects. The ELARIS Auto Group is taking advantage of this trend to accelerate expansion, with partners across Germany and other European countries such as Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and Turkey. ELARIS Auto Group currently has 15,000 pre-orders for new energy vehicles. The demand for new energy vehicles is expected to further increase in 2024, with an annual demand for Nanjing Golden Dragon's new energy vehicles reaching an estimated 6,000 units. Sales of new energy vehicles are expected to rank among the top two in the German industry.
Li Ming noted that new energy vehicles are the main development direction for Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. in the future. As both Nanjing-based companies, Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. and JOC Wuchan Corporation can support each other, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, realize resource sharing and complementary advantages, and enhance the market share of new energy vehicles in Europe. At the same time, we hope to leverage the logistics and overseas aggregation advantages of the SOHO provincial train platform in 2024 to jointly expand the export business of new energy vehicles in the Central Asian market with JOC Wuchan Corporation .
On the afternoon of December 8th, TAIPOV RASHID, the vice president of Kazakhstan DAEWOO BUS KAZAKHSTAN LTD, and Buick, the overseas market representative of Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Group, visited JOC Wuchan Corporation .
At the meeting, Sheng Yakun stated that Kazakhstan is rich in grain and oil products, and its edible oil, barley, and other products are highly favored by the international market. In the second half of this year, JOC Wuchan Corporation successfully completed the shipment of 1,300 tons of barley signed with Kazakhstan. It hopes to meet each other's needs in the future with DAEWOO BUS KAZAKHSTAN LTD in areas such as new energy vehicles and grain and oil business, achieving win-win cooperation.
TAIPOV RASHID expressed that with the strong support of the Kazakhstan National Development Fund, DAEWOO BUS KAZAKHSTAN LTD has broad development prospects. He hopes to establish a two-way cooperation mechanism with JOC Wuchan Corporation to increase the import volume of new energy vehicles and expand the export business of agricultural products to China.
The first order of 155 new energy vehicles exported to Germany from the cooperation between JOC Wuchan Corporation and Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. was successfully completed on November 23, 2023. This export of new energy vehicles marks an important step in the incubation and cultivation of new varieties by JOC Wuchan Corporation . At the beginning of next year, JOC Wuchan Corporation will once again export new energy vehicles to Germany, and is actively negotiating with Kazakhstan for the first order of automobile export business.
